Since 2001, Inter IKEA Centre Group has developed over 28 centres. During that time we have learned a lot and we bring this wealth of experience and a long-term approach to the development of every new project. 
 

  • Development decisions are based on comprehensive market analyses conducted in cooperation  with IKEA Group’s research department and national statistics agencies. 
  • Through dialogue with our tenants during the development phase, we can build centres that meet specific retailer needs. This is part of our ongoing commitment to improvement that continues with the tenant satisfaction survey done by our local management teams.
  • By sharing knowledge we can create a fantastic mix of tenants – both national and international – to fit the needs of shoppers and to drive footfall to all of our retail partners.

Following the IKEA tradition, we develop family-friendly centres, that provide a strong infrastructure for our retail partners and an engaging architectural experience for all our shoppers.

  • We focus on developing enclosed regional shopping centres.
  • Throughout the development process, we take every opportunity to create family-friendly facilities like entertainment areas, restaurants and children’s activities to guarantee our centres are as attractive as possible.
  • No stone is left unturned as we seek to deliver safer, more comfortable and easier to navigate shopping centres. This creates the platform for a more dynamic retail environment.
  • We develop centres with a view to managing them. This means we have a unique long-term perspective that meets the needs of both our retail partners and our shoppers.


Inter IKEA Centre Group has projects under developments in all our existing countries (in new and existing units) and in our new markets Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Spain and China adding up to more than 1,000 000 m2.
